Upside-Down World

Did you ever wonder what life

would be like if the world were

turned upside down?

No one would ever be

smiling; they’d be wearing

a permanent frown.

Cars would drive through clouds up high. Birds would walk

on the ground instead of soaring through the skies.

You’d never have to worry about umbrellas or winter clothes. Of course, you’d always wonder if it will rain or snow;

And if it does, no one would know where it would all go.

There would be no weeping willows because the leaves

wouldn’t be able to droop; And it would be almost

impossible to get a basketball through a hoop

There would be no lakes or oceans; How would you

keep them all filled up? Imagine drinking from a cup.

Oh no, life would never be the same at all!

Without gravity, everything would fall.

The world would be silly if it was mixed all around;

because you’d wonder which way was up

and which was down.
