Beyond the trees is a shadow of light;

invading the dark of the night

What could it be

illuminating so elegantly?

perhaps it’s a stray moonbeam;

shining it’s light on a place never seen.

maybe it’s a shooting star

Carrying a message from afar.

It could be an angel fulfilling

a long awaited dream

or, the Lord himself

making things pure and clean.

Maybe it’s a guiding light

for someone who has lost their sight

It can be whatever your heart desires.

let your imagination run free

until it finally tires.
