Teddy‘s Adventure

I’m a little brown teddy bear I have short fuzzy hair

People sometimes call me Teddy.

One day, I went to work

with my little boy and his dad

He showed me off to every one.

In the afternoon we snuggled for

a nap - he sucked his thumb

His dad said they had to leave

and the little boy had to pee

so he left me sitting in a chair

I waited for a long while but

he never did come back

Finally, a man rescued me

I tried to get his attention but

He was too busy to see

I spent all night in a dark scary place I was lonely than ever. All I wanted

Was to see my boys face

When the light shined again I heard

People talking about a lost bear.

I wondered if they knew I was in there.

No one heard me try to call out

but someone picked me up and a Little voice began to shout.

My boy laughed and cried and hugged

Me tight. He promised he would never

let me go again out of his sight
