The adventure began in 2015 with the
rescue of Hobo, our beloved Calico cat.
This was her second rescue, proving her to be the true underdog of her barn litter.
Then, in 2017, we decided to expand our
furry family by rescuing Bodi, our
charming golden boy, along with his
beautiful tri-color sister, Leela. Both
were saved from a South Korean meat
farm and made an incredible 1,400 mile journey to find their fur-ever home here.
Fast forward to 2023, we added another
joyful member to our family, Oliver,
our spirited little dog, whose playful and vivacious nature serves as a wonderful reminder that true happiness can often be discovered in lifes simplest moments

I’ve been writing for over 30 years
about life, love, growing up, older and
everything that's tucked in between.
I was lucky to escape the darkness
in time to change my ways.
It took every ounce of strength
that I had to recreate myself but,
with hope in my heart and faith in
my step; I started a new path.
Today, I am grateful for the lessons
I've learned, the error in my ways
and the people who have helped
me find peace along the way.
