Our heartwarming journey of
love and rescue all started in 2015 with
Hobo, our twice-rescued Calico cat;
the underdog from her barn litter.
in 2017 we rescued Bodi, our golden boy,
and his beautiful tri-color sister Leela.
Both were saved from a South Korean
meat farm and flown 1400 miles to
their forever home here in the States.
In 2023, we added Oliver, our spirited
and vivacious little dog, whose playful
nature and abundant energy remind us
that happiness and joy are found in life’s simplest and quietest moments.
I am proudly myself, living my truth to the fullest.

I’ve been writing for over 30 years
about life, love, growing up, older and
everything that's tucked in between.
I was lucky to escape the darkness
in time to change my ways.
It took every ounce of strength
that I had to recreate myself but,
with hope in my heart and faith in
my step; I started a new path.
Today, I am grateful for the lessons
I've learned, the error in my ways
and the people who have helped
me find peace along the way.
